Ledbetter, Johnny  My name is Johnny Ledbetter and I was born in Hamlet, North Carolina. I am the youngest of five children. Out of the five of us, four became teachers. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 1973 with a BS Degree in Elementary Education. Since then, I have received a Masters of Education from George Mason University. For 35 years I have taught in Prince William County. First at Dumfries Elementary and then Bel Air. My wife has worked in the county for 35 years also and we have 3 adult children. All 3 of my children have graduated from college and decided not to teach.
